Casey Johnson is the theatre director at Lakota East High School in Liberty Township, Ohio. He graduated from Xavier University with his Bachelor of Science in Theatre Education (minor in Professional Education), where he received the Outstanding Award in Theatre for his theatrical, academic, and leadership achievements.
Performance credits at Xavier: George (Our Town); MC (Once); Chase (American Idiot). Other selected performance credits: Jesse (Tuck Everlasting); Race (Newsies); Lucas (Addams Family). In 2020, Casey was a semifinalist at the Cincinnati Arts Association's Overture Awards.
Production credits at Xavier: Projections Design (Eurydice, Rabbit Hole, Lizzie: The Musical); Sound Design (Eurydice, Rabbit Hole, MT Cabaret 2023) and Scene Shop Technician. During the largely live-streamed 2020-2021 season: Technical Direction (Virtual New Play Festival); Video Design (Twelfth Night, Theory of Relativity).
Selected live event production credits include: Kings Island Entertainment, 3CDC (Cincinnati Center City Development Corp), and Technical Direction at Northstar Church in Loveland, Ohio.
